Client Details

Our client has been a namesake in the multifamily market within Carolinas & Mid Atlantic for over 25 years. Projects include wood frame garden style apartments, typically value between $40-60 million each. They have work secured through 2030 and are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to contribute to continued success.

Description

  • Support Project Managers in overseeing projects from predevelopment through construction and closeout
  • Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal development/construction teams on design and documentation
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor procurement processes, including bid packaging and leveling
  • Track schedules, milestones, and project progress; flag risks and assist with mitigation
  • Support contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control
  • Attend job site meetings and collaborate with field teams to ensure adherence to schedule, quality, and safety standards
  • Assist in permitting, approvals, and regulatory compliance processes
  • Maintain project reporting, meeting minutes, and stakeholder communications

Profile

  • 2+ years of project management experience within the multifamily construction sector
  • College degree in construction management or related field is preferred, not required
  • Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam
  • Positive attitude, punctual, great communication skills
  • Open to weekly travel to job sites in the Carolinas 1-2 days/week
