Position Overview
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the property. You will be responsible for completing service requests, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and assisting with apartment turns to ensure homes are move-in ready. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while providing outstanding service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and painting
- Assist with apartment make-readies, including turns, inspections, and repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure systems and equipment function properly
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment
- Identify and report larger repair needs or safety concerns to management
- Provide courteous, professional service to residents and team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in apartment or residential maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
