Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed and materials used.
- Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including painting and cleaning.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance projects and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and maintain a positive community atmosphere.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in apartment or facility maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various maintenance issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- HVAC Certification is a plus
