Qualified candidates will, at minimum, have a High School Diploma (or GED), a strong customer service background, and basic computer skills. Preference will be given to applicants with HUD knowledge and experience. The position will require organization, the ability to multitask, excellent communication and closing skills, and a positive, upbeat attitude. Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials
Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospective residents
Confirm rental application data and personal references
Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
Other administrative tasks as needed and/or deemed appropriate by Community Director
