Seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager for a professionally managed apartment community focused on resident satisfaction, high service standards, and strong occupancy. Were seeking an organized, serviceoriented team member to support property operations, leasing, and resident relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Community Manager with daily property operations, resident relations, and staff supervision
  • Assist with leasing activities: greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, prepare leases, and facilitate moveins/moveouts
  • Oversee frontdesk operations, respond to resident inquiries, and resolve escalated service and policy issues professionally and promptly
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and unit turns to ensure timely completion and quality control
  • Train, schedule, and oversee onsite team members (leasing agents, front desk, maintenance staff); assist with performance feedback
  • Monitor occupancy, assist with rent collection, delinquency followup, and perform basic accounting tasks (rent deposits, daily reports) per company policy
  • Maintain accurate records in property management software and prepare regular operational and leasing reports for management
  • Enforce property rules, safety protocols, and appearance standards; conduct property inspections and coordinate corrective actions
  • Assist with marketing, resident retention programs, community events, and online listings to drive occupancy and engagement
  • Perform opening/closing duties and act as onsite manager in the Community Managers absence

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years multifamily property management, leasing, hospitality, or retail management experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus
  • Strong customer-service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Basic accounting knowledge and comfort working with financial reports and rent collections
  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently, lead a small team, and remain professional under pressure
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or real estate/multifamily certification preferred
