POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a motivated and experienced Aircraft Structural Technician to join our AH-64 APACHE Program. This role involves removing and refirbishing structural components, repairing airframe structures, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform aircraft structural overhaul on AH-64 Apache helicopters.
Use engineering blueprints, technical manuals, and work instructions to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
Remove and replace damaged or worn structural components, including panels, fittings, and fasteners.
Conduct inspections of airframe components to identify wear, corrosion, or damage requiring repair or replacement.
Fabricate and fit replacement parts using tools such as drills, rivet guns, and precision measuring instruments.
Ensure all work meets DoD, and company standards for quality and safety.
Collaborate with team members, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
Document maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in aviation structures assembly/sheet metal.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Strong understanding of airframe structural systems, including composite materials, sheet metal, and fasteners.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment.
