AP Specialist

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting team during a period of organizational growth. This role will focus on high-volume invoice processing, vendor maintenance, payment processing, and resolving vendor inquiries while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has strong full-cycle accounts payable experience, advanced Excel skills, and previous experience with OpenInvoice. Oil & Gas industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and payment requests

• Ensure invoices are coded, routed, and processed accurately

• Set up and maintain vendor records and payment information

• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status

• Maintain accurate documentation and vendor files

• Assist with additional accounts payable projects as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Previous experience with OpenInvoice

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment

Preferred:

• Oil & Gas industry experience

• Understanding of general accounting principles

• Experience supporting high-volume AP operations

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
