The Opportunity

The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for supporting the company’s accounts payable function by ensuring invoices are processed accurately, records are maintained properly, and vendors are paid on time. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the smooth operation of the company’s financial activities through reliable and consistent execution of accounts payable processes.

What you will do?

  • Process accounts payable invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Verify and match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation for payment approval

  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices based on established payment terms

  • Reconcile vendor statements to confirm all outstanding invoices are captured and processed

  • Prepare and assist with electronic payments, checks, and ACH transactions

  • Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues

  • Maintain organized and accurate files for invoices, payment records, and supporting documentation

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accounts payable reconciliations

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable legal requirements

  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits

  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting or finance certifications preferred but not required

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
