    Full-time | Days (Rotating Weekends)

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking an AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist open to a leadership role in East Florida. This role combines administrative leadership with clinical responsibilities, supporting high-quality pathology services across several hospitals and affiliated sites in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide medical and administrative leadership across assigned facilities
    • Participate in committees, scheduling, workload distribution, and quality management initiatives
    • Oversee laboratory operations, test utilization, and clinical compliance
    • Perform anatomic pathology case sign-out, frozen sections, FNAs, and consultations
    • Lead tumor board participation and support interdisciplinary collaboration
    • Build strong relationships with hospital leadership and pathology teams
    • Mentor and support development of junior pathologists

    Practice Environment:

    • Collaborative team setting with pathology and support staff
    • Diverse and high-volume case mix in a hospital-based setting
    • No autopsy or gynecologic cytology responsibilities

    Qualifications:

    • Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
    • 3–5 years of experience as a Medical Director in a hospital setting (multi-site experience preferred)
    • Active state medical license or in progress
    • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
    • Experience managing or mentoring pathologists
