Kforce is partnering with a client in the Onalaska, WI area to identify an AP/AR Supervisor. Summary: This position will oversee the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate financial transactions and supporting the timely reporting of revenue, expenses, and cost activity. The role will also focus on enhancing processes, improving internal controls, and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to help drive operational efficiency and support ongoing growth and transformation initiatives. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support AP/AR team members, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing and efficient daily operations
  • Oversee receivables, collections, payment application, and related credit and cash management activities
  • Ensure accurate recording of cash, sales, and transactional financial data on a recurring basis
  • Manage key external vendor and purchasing relationships
  • Review and oversee corporate spending, expense programs, and related approvals
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
  • Support system and process enhancements, including ERP and procure-to-pay initiatives, to improve scalability and control
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as needed
  • Assist with financial reporting requirements, including select disclosures for internal and external reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
  • Self-motivated and highly organized with strong analytical and time management skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a team environment
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage projects and drive process improvements
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence others toward high-quality outcomes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
