Starting Salary: MA Step 1 $66,985.00 per the current REA Agreement

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid NJ School Guidance Counselor certification
• Master's Degree or comparable graduate program focusing on educational guidance and related areas
• Experience in counseling students to overcome academic, social, and behavioral concerns
• Experience in implementing proactive prevention/intervention strategies related to individual and group behavior concerns
• Ability to assist agitated or confused students in recomposing themselves during situations causing issues or personal setbacks
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to students
