Description: Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant for the Athletic Department.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in related position.
  • Familiarity and experience with school business office processes involving budgets and purchase orders.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents, staff, coaches, officials, and community members.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with students, staff, administrators, and community members.
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve, set goals, and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.). Experience working with Genesis a plus. Must possess the ability to learn new software applications as needed.
  • Proficient in scanning, emailing and mail merging documents.
  • Ability to multitask, including answering phones, coordinating schedules, data entry, and other related clerical responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of automated office equipment and efficient office procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations and interactions.
  • Must pass a criminal history background check and provide proof of authorization to work in the US.
  • Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.
  • Possess a valid NJ Motor Vehicle Driver's License.

Working Conditions: Full time, 12 month position, with benefits.

Salary range: Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $54,256.00 and $71,756.00, commensurate with experience.
