Qualifications: High School diploma; accounts payable and/or bookkeeping training
Knowledge of automated office equipment, computers and excellent math skills
Strong analytical, communication and human relations skills
Minimum of three years' experience in accounts payable and/or bookkeeping environment

Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
Reports To: School Business Administrator
Job Goal: To assist in the administration of the district's business affairs relative to budget preparation/reporting, accounts payable, and to provide the maximum services for the financial resources available.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Provides for the proper issuance of purchase orders through central clearing, processing, codifying and forwarding to vendors in accordance with State accounting procedures and the district financial policies.
- Prepares and transmits up to date budgetary status to buildings.
- Assists in the completion of other business office tasks including, but not limited to routine typing, filing, scanning, telephone operations, and other items as necessary and/or as assigned.
- Coordinates and compiles all necessary data in developing the district's annual budget.
- Maintains effective working relationship with administrators, employees, vendors, and deals with public relations problems courteously and tactfully.
- Maintains an accurate accounting of district expenditures.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Business Administrator/Board Secretary.
