ANTICIPATED: Administrative Assistant of Technology, School Security, and Social Media Coordinator

Full Time maternity leave coverage on or about July 13 - December 31, 2026

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a range of administrative responsibilities
  • Website management experience; Marketing background preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of and/or demonstrate the ability to learn and implement Operating Systems (i.e. Windows); Office suites (i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Docs); Presentation Software (i.e. PowerPoint, Keynote); Spreadsheets (i.e. Excel, Google Spreadsheets); Communication and Collaboration tools (i.e. Skype); Accounting Software (i.e. System3000); Student Information Systems (i.e. Genesis); Ed Data, or any other technology deemed relevant for this position
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Ability to concurrently manage a wide range of tasks
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills that create relationships with all levels of staff

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and updates the district website with current and relevant information, as appropriate, general web oversight in terms of timeliness of updates and content, as well as consistency in format, tone and terminology.
  • Assists in the coordination and updates of building-based websites with current and relevant information, as appropriate. Provides supports to the building principals (or their designees) in ensuring required district items are updated frequently.
  • Coordinates with district partners on the development, maintenance and implementation of the district vision, message, and brand.
  • Participates in professional development to increase personal capacity related to district communication, website management, and social media management.
  • Digital communications production (weekly newsletter, targeted communications, social media posts, surveys, etc.).
  • General oversight and content creation for district social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Additional platforms may be added, as determined by the superintendent.
  • Digital media design, creation, and archiving (e.g. Photography, Videography, Photo/Video Editing, Graphic Design, Layout Design, etc. as needed)
  • Provide professional development to staff on matters related to District Communications and digital media.
  • Establishes communication workflow to ensure contributions from all stakeholders.
  • Coordinates the use student photographers and videographers at various school and district functions.
  • Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Technology or superintendent

Salary Range: To be determined based on years of experience ($63,680-$70,905)
