Animal Technician

Summary:

• Work Mode: Onsite
• Location: May need to work at Mission Bay and Parnassus campuses depending on department staffing needs
• Shift Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm with two 15 minute breaks and a one hour lunch. Flexible start time, earliest start at 6:00am
• Workdays: Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays (depending on needs)

Responsibilities:

• Perform rodent husbandry tasks
• Ensure compliance with ABSL2 standards

Requirements:

• Experience in rodent husbandry

Preferred Skills:

• ABSL2 experience is a plus
• AALAS certification is a plus but not required
