Job Title: Animal Technician
Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Compensation: $21 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7:00 to 3:30pm
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Experience with care of animals (mice and rats)
- Minimal animal handling experience
- Willing to consider recent graduates interested in working with animals and in a lab setting
Responsibilities
- Perform animal husbandry tasks, including providing food and water to animals
- Evaluate animal health and assess animals for behavioral problems
- Support research activities by providing research support services
- Maintain facility sanitation and perform routine maintenance
- Assist with scheduled weekend support once trained
- Participate in facility tours for candidates deemed suitable after review of resumes
