Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 5x8s ONLY ‐ Must be available 4 weeks/month
- Job Setting: 9 anesthesia rooms
- Types of Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho
- Credentialing: 90 days
- Duration: 13‐20 weeks
- Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs at 4 to 1 ratio
- Car Rental/Mileage Stipend: $250/weekly
- Lodging/Housing Stipend: $110/daily
Responsibilities
- Pre‐anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Licensure: Current GA state license as a registered professional nurse ‐ REQUIRED to present provider (not willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license)
- Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
