The facility is a busy hospital that provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties. The anesthesia department handles a diverse caseload including pediatric, general, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and obstetric procedures.

Macon is home to the Allman Brothers Band Museum at the Big House! There are many other sites to explore while on assignment such as Amerson River Park or Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park!

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services for all pediatric cases as well as general, cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, and obstetric procedures. The position requires working 10-hour day shifts with regular hours and no in-house call or pager call responsibilities during weeknights and weekends. Georgia licensure is accepted for candidates needing to obtain credentials, with an estimated 90-day credentialing period. Prescriptive authority is required with negotiable board certification requirements.
