Local Team Collaboration
Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 28 CRNAs at Piedmont Columbus Midtown.
Work alongside our diverse, cohesive team driven by a shared mission to support one another genuinely.
24-hour in-house dedicated OB/CRNA who is responsible for the primary call for OB patients. The physician will mainly be in the Main OR and backing up the CRNA as needed in OB.
Founded in 1836, Piedmont Columbus Regional is a leading healthcare provider in west Georgia, serving the Columbus, GA area with a network of health and medical services through its two hospital campuses.
Qualifications
Board certified, eligible in anesthesia.
Authorization to work in the United States.
New residents are welcome to apply.
Scheduling
Full-time position
We offer various flexible scheduling options.
Our day physicians will split a mixture of 8-10 and 12-hour shifts.
Monday-Friday schedule with 12-hour weekend day shifts once per month.
No call.
Part-time position
This will be a set schedule rotation with another local .5 physician who is already on site.
The schedule is split evenly between the two physicians and alternates each month for equity.
You would only work one weekend every 8 weeks - 12-hour shifts.
This unique schedule will also give you five Fridays off at a time.
13 weeks off annually.
No call and no nights.
Key Responsibilities
Manage level II trauma patients, OBGYN, pediatrics, neuro, orthopedic, and general.

It is the second-largest city in Georgia after Atlanta but boasts a more affordable housing market in the city and surrounding areas.

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is proud to have earned the Stroke Honor Roll and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll, the Get With the Guidelines Stroke Silver Plus from the American Heart Association, Antibiotic Stewardship and Neonatal Antibiotic Stewardship from the Georgia Department of Public Health, and Platinum Recognition from the Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Organ Donation Campaign.
Compensation and Additional Benefits
Full-time compensation: Full-time annual salary of $550,000 for W2s and $585,000 for 1099s.
Strong commencement bonus offered up to $100,000. This will add another $33,333 per year over 3 years to the base salary with market analysis yearly.
1099 option available.
Part-time compensation: Annual salary of $275,000 for W2s and $292,500 for 1099s.
Strong commencement bonus offered up to $75,000. This will add another $25,000 per year over 3 years to the base salary with market analysis yearly.
Generous scheduled time off up to 13 weeks a year.
