ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Anesthesia Technician focuses on cleaning and maintaining equipment during the surgery process and the operating room for each procedure as directed.

RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Assists physician in preparing patient for induction and emergency procedure according to department policies and procedures.
- Checks equipment and supplies at the beginning of shift according to department policies and procedures.
- Ensures that proper equipment and supplies are available and present for procedure according to department policies and procedures.
- Cleans and restocks anesthesia carts and helps protect and maintain anesthesia and anesthesia-related equipment according to department policies and procedures.
- Cleans, decontaminates and sterilizes anesthesia equipment including but not limited to laryngoscope blades, Magill forceps, light wands, flexible fiber-optic bronchoscopes Doppler probes, tub benders, and bullard.
- Assists physician in preparing patient for induction and emergency procedure according to department policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
