Anesthesia Technician JOB SUMMARY The Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesiologists during procedures by preparing equipment, assisting with airway management, and ensuring efficient intraoperative care. WORK SCHEDULE • Option 1: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM • Option 2: 3x12s, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM • On-Call: 1 weekday + 1 weekend every 8 weeks KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist anesthesiologist with preparation and placement of monitoring equipment • Support patient induction by connecting monitors and assisting with intubation • Maintain patient airway and assist in airway management procedures • Assist with IV insertion and invasive line placement (arterial, central lines) • Support complex procedures including fiberoptic intubation and difficult airway cases • Provide intraoperative support and anticipate anesthesiologist needs • Assist with volume infusions and blood salvage processing • Support anesthesia team during off-site or outside cases • Ensure readiness for emergency and trauma procedures REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician • Certification (Preferred) • Knowledge of cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology, and infection control • Experience with anesthesia equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting • Strong understanding of airway management and invasive monitoring KEY SKILLS • Airway & anesthesia support • Equipment setup & troubleshooting • Critical thinking & prioritization • Team collaboration & communication • Emergency/trauma readinessI
