Android Automation Engineer

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android device testing. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Android Automation Engineer for their Phoenix, AZ/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android device testing.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Develop automation solutions using Java and industry-standard design patterns.
• Build and maintain automation for Kafka-based messaging and event-driven applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency across applications and platforms.
• Support CI/CD integration and ensure automation execution within release pipelines.
• Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

 
Requirements:

• Strong experience with Playwright Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Java programming.
• Experience automating and validating Kafka-based applications and message flows.
• Knowledge of Android device testing and mobile automation concepts.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience with test automation framework development and maintenance.
