School Teacher - Anderson Academy Charter School
 
Location: Winston-Salem, NC, on-site
 
Schedule: 10 month position, 1st shift Monday - Friday, with some weekend/evening hours depending upon events/program needs

Hiring Range:  $46,000 to $50,000 annually

Education/Experience/Licensure:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.  If teaching a core subject (math, science, social studies, language arts), a bachelor’s degree in the subject required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • NC DPI Teaching license and/or a teaching license awarded by a reciprocal state.
    • Prior teaching experience in a public, private, or charter school setting.
    • Experience working with diverse populations or students with special educational needs.
    • Experience developing curriculum, implementing innovative teaching methods, and adapting to flexible educational settings. 
  • Non-licensed teachers must demonstrate subject-matter competency through relevant education and professional experience.
  • A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.
