Job Title: Development Chemist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Development Chemist to run analytical testing for release and stability testing, support method optimization, and assist with method qualification and validation for analytical methods. This role involves reviewing and writing protocols, test methods, and SOPs, as well as sample management and supporting drug product development studies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical testing for release and stability purposes.
  • Support method optimization to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with method qualification and validation for both internal and external contract laboratories.
  • Review and write protocols, test methods, and SOPs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage samples effectively to maintain organization.
  • Support drug product development studies to contribute to innovation and progress.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry.
  • Experience with analytical techniques such as SDS-PAGE, SEC HPLC, CE-SDS, IcIEF, and ELISA.
  • Knowledge of laboratory software including Empower, Compass, AccuSEQ, and SoloVPE.
  • Understanding of Veeva Vault quality systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • PhD with 1+ years, MS with 3+ years or BS with 5+ years of experience in analytical development and quality control in pharma/biotech.

Work Environment

The role is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The dress code is business casual attire, and strong communication skills are essential to thrive in this environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
