What you will be doing:
The Department of Health (DOH) is seeking a dynamic, creative individual to fill a key Analyst/Programmer 4 position. As the Analyst Programmer 4, you will primarily utilize the Microsoft .NET technology stack and SQL Server. Your experience and responsibilities will include strong SQL Server skills, the ability to manage rapidly changing priorities, strong analytical skills, and outstanding written and oral communication skills. We are looking for a capable teammate willing to grow and learn as they meet the goals of our organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of computer programming experience in a recognized computer language. One year of this experience must have been in a business application, scientific application, microcomputer or computer information management support specialty.
Substitution:
A bachelors degree with a major in Computer Science (CS) or Computer Information Systems (CIS) or a related degree with (18) semester/(24) quarter hours of CS or CIS may substitute for one year of the required experience. An associates degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems may substitute for nine months of the required experience.
Special Note:
An applicant who is considered under the Substitution above qualifies to apply for this job class IF the applicable coursework is completed within three (3) months of hire. Under this option, an applicant may receive a conditional job offer; however, proof of completion will be required prior to final appointment and reporting for duty.
Individual positions at each level in this class series may require expertise in a particular area of programming or analysis. Recruitment and selection will be on the basis of these requirements.
For some positions in these job classes, a background investigation including fingerprinting is required.
