Looking for an exciting career in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment? The California Lottery is looking for a strategic Distribution Analyst (Analyst II) to join our energetic sales team to help California become the #1 Lottery in the United States.
Under the direction of the Manager II of Sales Support & Distribution (SS&D), the Distribution Analyst (Analyst II), is responsible for a variety of analystical and development assignments associated with SS&D's product distribution and contracts.
In Fiscal year 2025-26, the California Lottery generated sales of approximately $9.1 billion with over $1.9 billion earned for California public schools. Lottery products are sold at more than 23,000 retail locations throughout the state including independent neighborhood shops, convenience stores, liquor stores, supermarkets and more.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as assigned. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires the employee to reside in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: "telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California.

Working Conditions
a. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
b. Travel: Travel will be required, as needed, generally not more than two weeks per year.
c. Other: Position will be required to work out of Lottery or vendor facilities and attend in-person meetings.

Statement of Qualifications
Instructions: Provide a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) with your applications. When completing the SOQ, follow the formatting requiements: 12 point New Roman font, single spaced, no more than two pages total.
