Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Human Resources Supervisor (Supervisor I), the Analyst II works independently and as a member of other HR professionals, who provide personnel consultation to staff and management at the Office of Tax Appeals and performs a wide array of personnel assignments as identified below.

Working Conditions

  • Requires frequent contact with OTA management and employees.
  • Requires mobility to various areas of the Department's work locations.
  • Travel may be required within the State of California to attend meetings, training classes, seminars and forums.
  • Travel may be by train, plane and/or automobile.
  • The duties of this position are equipped with standard ergonomic office equipment, as appropriate.
  • Will be required to attend meetings or training classes either virtually (Zoom; TEAMS) or in-person.
