This is a Limited Term assignment for up to 12 months that may be extended and/or may become permanent.

This position is physically located at the California Natural Resources Building in Downtown Sacramento.

Duties: Under the direction of the Manager, Financial Program Control Branch (FPCB), the incumbent provides budget and program control functions for the Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Headquarters and Field Division programs and organizations. Program and organizational assignments will vary and are periodically rotated between other analysts in FPCB. Position requires the incumbent to use considerable independent judgment and initiative. Will occasionally act as the lead analyst for specific projects or processes performed by FPCB. This position requires that the incumbent work both independently and cooperatively with others; with accuracy and comprehension, have a general understanding of budgeting and accounting principals and processes; manage multiple priorities; meet aggressive deadlines; maintain regular, consistent and predictable attendance; and exercise initiative and good judgment.
