Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II will perform a wide variety of complex and technical work related to Human Resources (HR) within the field division. As the HR Assistant, incumbent is responsible for processing and maintaining all documents related to new hires and separations; generate HR reports and input all HR related data into SAP; participate in the administering of exams and interviews. Must be able to multi-task, be willing to accept change in assigned priorities based on the operational needs of the Field Division. Must exercise considerable independent judgment and confidentiality and possess a thorough knowledge and expertise of established SAP applications; analytical work experience; knowledge of Family Medical Leave, Non-Industrial Disability, and State Disability Insurance, personnel policies, procedures, and regulations.

Desirable Qualifications

The incumbent must have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to evaluate complex and confidential human resources documents. The ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner. The ability to independently conduct research and analysis; work with staff at all levels within the organization, outside agencies and the public; and the ability to independently organize/prioritize workload to meet demands are necessary for this position. Proficient in the use of various computer applications such as SAP, and Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and other database programs and be willing to learn new technological tools and to incorporate them in daily tasks. Experience processing Family Medical Leave, Non-Industrial Disability, and State Disability Insurance. Be reliable, punctual, and willing to work a fixed schedule. Be self-motivated and have good work ethic. Interpersonal skills: The ability to work independently, as well as cooperatively and productively, in a team atmosphere with colleagues having different disciplinary backgrounds.

The field divisions are 100% office-centric, candidate must be willing to work in person, as this position is not eligible for telework.
