Responsible for working with management, end-users and other American Airlines team members to answer data related questions, address concerns, and coordinate enhancements to support cargo revenue accounting and corporate projects. You will be involved in data analysis/reporting, identifying issues, proposing solutions, coordinating and contributing to the implementation of proposed solutions.
The role is a part of the Finance team within our Finance group.
What you'll do
This position will report to the manager of Cargo Revenue accounting. Duties to include but not limited to:
Management of revenue and receivable for all postal administration accounts - including invoicing, payment application, discrepancy resolution
Heavy contact with postal customers
Audit of AA's cargo billing portal on a weekly basis
Reconciliation and application of payments received via 3 lockboxes that are not automatically applied
Research and analysis into overpayment claims for customers paying by credit card
Identification, analysis and capture of revenue not captured through normal channels
Reporting, tracking, and managing system defects related to the iCargo system
Back up to L3/L4 Analyst
Ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned
