Sunday Wednesday: 4: 45 PM 5: 00 AM
Wednesday Saturday: 4: 45 AM 5: 00 PM

About the Role:
Are you a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician looking for a challenging and rewarding career? Join a team where your expertise keeps critical refrigeration and utility systems running smoothly. You ll maintain, operate and repair ammonia refrigeration equipment, pumps, compressors, condensers, evaporators and more all while working in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, inspect and maintain ammonia refrigeration and utility systems
Service, repair and rebuild valves, pumps and other equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on refrigeration, HVAC, air compressors, cooling towers and fire retention systems
Conduct rounds to monitor equipment and maintain operational parameters
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, engine rooms and maintenance shops
Work safely with voltages up to 480V 3-phase and handle ammonia pump-outs
Operate forklifts and perform duties at heights up to 70
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of ammonia systems experience
Ammonia Operator I certification (or equivalent) required
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Detail-oriented, safety-conscious and able to work in a team
Ability to work in freezer environments and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn CMMS systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements:
Walking, standing, bending, lifting, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs
Working in cold/freezer environments and using proper PPE at all times
Pay & Benefits:
$28 35/hour, depending on experience (Annual range $72K $108K)
