AMLKYC Process & Controls Manager

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking an AML/KYC Process & Controls Manager.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced AML/KYC professional to lead initiatives that strengthen and standardize customer due diligence operations. This role focuses on improving how AML/KYC work is performed by managing projects, creating clear guidance and procedures, and ensuring processes meet regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate combines strong AML/KYC knowledge with excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects that enhance AML/KYC due diligence operations, from planning through execution and delivery
• Partner with compliance, legal, risk, and operations teams to align processes with regulatory requirements and business goals
• Develop and maintain a centralized AML/KYC knowledge repository to support due diligence analysts
• Create and update clear, practical SOPs covering Standard and Enhanced Due Diligence, sanctions screening, PEP/SIP reviews, and adverse media
• Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to increase consistency and quality
• Support audit readiness and regulatory exams by ensuring documentation and processes are well-defined and defensible
• Serve as a subject matter expert for AML/KYC practices, including training and onboarding support
