AMD PAC-3/Avenger Software Configuration Management Specialist

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Software Configuration Management Specialist, to join the Integrated Air and Missile Defense ( IAMD)  team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Perform technical support of software test and builds.

  • Define, document and interpret product requirements relevant to certification, software configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.

  • Develop, document and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and maintain configuration control.

  • Communicates requirements to coworkers/customers regarding procedures, processes, and tools that support the preparation, release, and interpretation of product definition data.

  • Track, reconcile discrepancies and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements.

  • Support software audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.

  • Assist with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.  

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an Active U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Active Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 3: Ttypically, 6 or more years' related work experience

  • Level 4: Ttypically, 10 or more years' related work experience

  • Change Management experience

  • National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) certification or equivalent CM Certification  

  • Experience Engineer Release Tools Metrics and chart generation experience

  • Engineering Drawings and Model Based Design and Model Based Instruction knowledge

Summary pay range, Level 3: $ 85,000 – $ 115,000

Summary pay range, Level 4: $ 102,000 – $ 138,000
