Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to oversee the daily operations of an Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role will be responsible for supervising perioperative nursing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting excellent patient outcomes within a high-volume outpatient surgery environment.

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday - 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations, staffing, and scheduling within the surgery center
  • Supervise and support nursing staff in the OR/perioperative setting
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and patient safety protocols
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and operational efficiency
  • Support staff development and maintain a positive team culture
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance management efforts

Qualifications:
  • Active New York State RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • BSN preferred
  • 3–5+ years of nursing leadership experience within an operating room setting
  • Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of perioperative workflows and quality improvement processes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
