DEPARTMENT: UROLOGY PHYSICIANS

SUMMARY:
Ambulatory RN is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to a varied patient population, observing and documenting patient response care, and providing guidance and assistance to LPN's and non-licensed staff in acute care setting. The Ambulatory RN is accountable for the caliber of patient care performed by themselves and those under their supervision. The Ambulatory RN promotes and coordinates team work with physicians and associates, interfaces effectively with other departments, and provides customer service to patients' families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical and non-medical persons.

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
