Subject to change based on MISD SchoolCalendar for the 2025-2026 school yearHours: Split shift from 6:30am-9:00am / 4:00pm-6:30pm (approx. 5 hours per day), Monday - FridaySalary Range: $12.00/hourPosition Summary/Duties: Directly supervise a group of children before and after the regular camp hours Ensure childrens safety, manage childrens behavior and act as a role model and mentor Conduct activities and character development practices with children according to the programschedule Ensure maintenance and appropriate use of all building facilities, resources, supplies andequipment with care and pride; including organization, cleanliness and daily set-up/take-down ofthe program area Maintain positive relations with children, parents and co-workers Attend and participate in special events, staff meetings and staff trainings Perform other duties as assignedQualifications: Must be at least 17 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Experience working with school-age children in a day camp or similar setting highly preferred Ability to effectively communicate with staff, children, and parents Ability to plan and conduct age-appropriate activities including, but not limited to:outdoor/indoor games, songs, skits, crafts, and educational activities
