The Alumni Benefits and Communication Coordinator is responsible for programs managed through the office of alumni relations that provide benefits and services to alumni as well as provide support for multiple alumni communication channels. Programs include the alumni insurance program, virtual book club, reduced tickets to community events, online discounts, and the alumni ID distribution program. The communication processes involved with this role include the Tiger Connect website, TU Today, Salesforce, Target X email system and alumni newsletters. Telework may be available for this position up to two days per week following the completion of 90 days of service in good standing.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate and grow affinity benefits programs including but not limited to the auto insurance program and the life insurance program, license plate program.
Act as the department liaison for Salesforce data requests and send electronic communication to alumni as needed for UA.
Manage and coordinate alumni ID card distribution and requests.
Provide support for alumni website, emails, event registration pages, & TU Today.
Manage and grow online discount service and ticket programs.
Assist with Volunteer Service Programs, recognition events and Career Fairs/Open Houses.
Coordinate alumni virtual benefits including the Alumni Learning Consortium.
Layout alumni newsletters and various other pieces of communication.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of related experience with marketing and/or communications.
Knowledge in constituent relations in an academic setting, knowledge of marketing and/or communications.
High level representation of the University and the Office of Alumni Relations under some circumstances.
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to communication, collaboration, and customer service.
Salary and Benefits
Targeted salary range at $56,000-$61,000 annually and full University benefits that include 22 days of annual leave, up to 17 holidays, personal and sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission.
