A leading investment firm, asset manager, or financial institution may seek an Alternative Investment Officer to support the evaluation, monitoring, and strategic allocation of alternative investments. This role is well-suited for candidates seeking exposure to non-traditional asset classes, portfolio construction, and investment strategy within a structured professional environment.
Support analysis and evaluation of alternative investment opportunities across private equity, private credit, venture capital, real assets, and hedge funds
Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to assess investment risk and return profiles
Conduct market, sector, and manager research to support portfolio strategy and allocation decisions
Assist with investment memoranda, portfolio reviews, and internal presentations
Monitor performance of existing alternative investments and support ongoing portfolio reporting
Coordinate due diligence materials, data rooms, and external manager communications
Collaborate with senior investment professionals on asset allocation, risk assessment, and strategic initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong analytical and quantitative skill set with interest in alternative asset classes
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Prior internship or experience in investment banking, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or consulting is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms; exposure to portfolio analytics tools is a plus
