Allscripts Systems Analyst

Healthcare IS is seeking an experienced Allscripts Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. Over 16 years we have developed a broad network of Clinical IT professionals to assist our clients with integrating technology and workflow in a cost effective manner. Travel required.

Description

• Perform front-line implementation support and training for the Allscripts TouchWorks Electronic Health Record software.
• Responsible for the technical setup of the application to meet specific end user requirements.
• Work closely with physicians, resident physicians, nurse managers, and clinic staff to maximize the efficient and effective use of Enterprise EHR as it relates to patient care, user satisfaction, and clinical productivity.
• Implement support and train clinical and non-clinical users on the Allscripts.
• Establish best practices for modifying and improving Enterprise EHR, including workflow process improvement and end user development.
• Provide observations and recommendations to clinic management regarding strategies to improve user satisfaction and increase efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Previous experience in an ambulatory setting.
• Knowledge of Allscripts Sunrise Ambulatory Care.
• Experience in workflow design/redesign, electronic medical record systems, and/or computer analyst experience.
• Ability to coach and teach clinic staff, nurses, residents, physicians, and attending physicians.
• Understanding of clinical and office workflows and basic Health Information Management (HIM) processes.
