Position Title: Allied Health Adjunct Clinical Instructor

Job Duties: Job responsibilities include conducting training and assuring competency of students in a clinical setting and teaching clinical skills at area long term care facilities associated with Butlers CNA and CMA courses.

This is a part-time faculty position as a clinical adjunct instructor.

Campus Locations: Multiple Sites

Nature of Position: Adjunct Instructor

If Part Time, list Working Hours: Salary Commensurate with education and experience $830 per credit hour equivalent to 34-50hr. depending on contract type.

Summary Qualifications

Qualifications: Required knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of CNACMA and KDADs course content
• Computer literacy required
• Required personal attributes include:
• Integrity
• Emotional maturity
• Dependability
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred

Required experience:

• A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing experience
• At least one year in long term care is required
• Preferred experience: experience as teacher within a nursing related program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting

Required educational background:

• A current license to practice nursing in the state of Kansas
• Education at least one level above nursing courses being taught (i.e. LPN for CNACMA courses)
• Preferred education: ADN or BSN
