4 10-hour shifts per week with 8 am - 6 pm plus night call
4 patients per shift
Critical access hospital with emergency department
ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Newborn deliveries received in ED with no L&D department
Rural health experience and broad scope practice required
Coverage includes ER, outpatient/primary care, and OB capabilities
20% call back rate
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
