The Superintendent is accountable forschedule safety quality control code compliance and customerGC coordinationacross one or multiple projectssites.The salary range for this position is 45.00-55.00 per hour depending on experience.Job Responsibilities Directly supervise technicians and apprentices assign daily work manpower and priorities across multiple jobs. Conductdailyweekly planning jobsite walk-throughs and coordination meetings with GCs owners and AHJs.Serve as the escalation point for complex troubleshooting system performance issues and customer concerns.Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements including job hazard assessments toolbox talks and corrective actions as needed.Own field QAQC verify device countslocations labeling loop loading voltage drop as-builts and workmanship prior to inspections.\Ensure work is executed to NFPA local AHJ amendments project specifications and company standards proactively resolve codespec conflicts with PMEngineerAHJ.Support PM with change order documentation scope changes T&M tickets field impacts and provide labormaterial forecasts.Plan and lead system acceptance activities pre-test 100 device test coordination monitoringcentral station coordination final acceptance support etcInteract with clients field personnel and fire marshalsCoordination with other disciplines engineers general contractors and end usersDaily communications with Project Manager andor Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays requirements and general status of jobsResponsible for training apprentices on Company procedures systems inspection and installation techniquesAll work is performed to NFPA and Company standards with quality inspection and installation techniques practicedJob QualificationsSupervisoryforemansuperintendent experienceleading fire alarm & detection teamsAbility to interpret and manageproject documents specs submittals sequence of operations RFIs and coordinated drawingsKnowledge ofacceptance testing commissioning support and AHJ inspection processesKnowledge of NFPA codes is required.
