Traffic Officer

Location: Pensacola Airport

Hourly Rate: $15-16.00/HR + full-time

Schedule: Morning Shift (4am-12pm)

Requirements: customer service experience is required, professional and adaptable to situations

The Spirit of the Position:

The Traffic Officer provides operational support through upholding and enforcing the local parking ordinances while assisting customers with parking needs and for directing traffic for the Pensacola Airport.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle control, and traffic.
• Resolve customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with any special assignments and projects as requested.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• A minimum of 6 months of outdoor work experience, general knowledge of streets and directions are all required
• Security Background is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness.

• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time (95-100% of shift) - no sitting is allowed.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
