As a Airport Security Officer: Patrol Support in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential compliance while assisting with visitor direction and related questions in accordance with location protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, observing for maintenance and/or life-related hazards, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
