Airport Asset Management Lead
Examples of Duties
Manages the implementation of the City of Clevelands asset management strategy for PCs, Laptop, and Tablet hardware including associated software products and licenses. Is responsible for developing and maintaining the asset management system and its coordination, planning, investigation, design, and documentation. Works across all areas of the City of Cleveland in the development and evolution of the asset management strategy and is able to turn the strategy into action. Logs and tracks all purchase orders relating to the purchase of information technology hardware/software citywide. Oversees the process of disclosing excess, requesting the disposal instructions, and effecting the disposal of City of Cleveland property. Oversees the process of properly identifying all City of Cleveland hardware/software and other resources. Is responsible for the inventory, control, and reporting of all information technology resources citywide, through the life cycle of all hardware/software. Oversees the process of moving all types of City of Cleveland information technology property. Maintains a record for each capitalized item in a centralized database which shows and controls all City of Cleveland property furnished to or otherwise acquired by the City of Cleveland. Verifies the correctness of asset records by conducting physical inventories. Verifies required hardware configurations and set up and checks out PC hardware and software products/licenses prior to delivery to end users and maintains an inventory of installed hardware and software. Oversees the process of properly closing out the property elements of a contract. Coordinates, schedules, oversees content and delivery methodology for all General Fund Information Technology training initiatives including internal/external trainers, training facility maintenance and preparation, and class scheduling. Maintains a list of substitute trainers. Provides annual budget estimates for the operating budget and any expected budget impacts. Performs other job-related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required. Four years of full-time paid experience in the area of asset management required. (Substitution: Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.) Must be computer proficient and have experience in the setup of PC hardware and loading PC software. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suites. Project management is desirable. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Maintenance System:
Measure and publish performance metrics to the management team; interpret data, troubleshoot processes, and make recommendations based on findings.
Develop and maintain accuracy of equipment metadata by regularly collecting and inputting information, such as; manufacturer, model, serial number, and system structure information. The data is maintained in the asset management software and equipment is labeled/barcoded or identifiable in the facility.
Develop and maintain accuracy of Work Order (WO) related data:
User Setup, Employees, Shifts, Crews, and Supervisors
Adding Equipment to PM Plans, Schedules, and Work Packages
Defining scheduled due dates or initial meter points of system-generated WOs
Develop and maintain facility-specific Preventive Maintenance Plans, Schedules, Routes, and Work Packages
Support management in the review of WO Data accuracy such as; Equipment on WOs, Hours (Employee and Vendors), parts usage, WO type, closing codes, WO Comments, etc.
Works with management to roll out new functionality, to develop new work processes and improve on the current processes, standard object coding scheme, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance procedures and scheduling, and asset management reports.
Serves as liaison for problem-solving and escalation.
Aides in developing training materials and the training and educating of internal and external staff on the work order management system functions and best practices for performing tasks.
Develops dashboards.
Assists with budget development and is responsible for asset management and maintenance sections' procurements including ordering supplies/materials, services, and manages requisitions, tallies and payments.
