Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Sealer Technician to join our dynamic team in North Charleston, SC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and safety of aircraft by applying sealants and coatings to various components. Responsibilities

  • Apply sealants and coatings to aircraft surfaces following industry standards and specifications.
  • Inspect and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of sealants.
  • Conduct quality control checks to verify the effectiveness of sealant applications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any sealing-related issues.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sealing technologies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aircraft maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in aircraft sealing or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sealants, coatings, and their applications in aviation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
