Summary:
Perform electrical modifications to wiring and system components.
Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and quality checks.
Work with hazardous energy and Lockout/Tagout systems.
Collaborate with other teams (General Mechanics, Structures, Avionics).
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain required certifications.
Required Skills:
4+ years of on-aircraft electrical installation and modification experience.
Experience with routing and terminations, including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optics.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical orders.
Proficiency in connector terminations and wire harness assembly.
Desired Skills:
A&P License
Experience with Modification Programs
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to ascend/descend ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Exposure to elevated platforms, noise, and hazardous materials.
Frequent standing, walking, and overhead reaching.
Ability to obtain customer approval (background check required).
