Aircraft Mechanic (A&P Certificated)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned. This position reports directly to a Lead Mechanic.

Position Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures • Must have an A&P Certificate • Must have great attention to detail • Completes required paperwork as directed • Maintains clean shop and keeps organized as directed

Fleet Information

The fleet includes: • 8 x Cessna 172s • 2 x Piper Singles Warrior & Arrow • 2 x Piper Twins Aztec & Apache • 1 x Cessna 421 • 2 x Robinson Helicopters R-22 & R-66

Job Qualifications

Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards Ensures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91141 regulations

Position Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English • Previous Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience (R-66 preferred) • Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations • Must be able to work in confined spaces • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. • Must be able to climb ladders and maneuver around aircraft • Must be able to pass a company background and drug test

Work Environment

• Flight-line and hangar at times in inclement weather • Workaround chemicals, solvents, and paints
