Job Description

Join our team as a supervisor on the Lockheed Martin Special Operations Contract based in Lexington, KY.

This mission critical contract requires o supervisors to manage delivering on time and on budget modifications of MH 6, MH 60, and MH 47 aircraftas performed by a unionized workforce.

What You'll Do

• Direct and control the full modification program for MH 6, MH 60 and MH 47 platforms, ensuring cost, schedule & performance targets are met.
• Partner daily with the Operations Manager, peer Supervisors, Associate Managers, and Aircraft Schedulers to secure on time, on budget delivery.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to Group Leads and Technicians through all modification
and test phases.
• Issue work orders and track progress against the assigned timeline to validate efficient completion.
• Coordinate with Structural and Electrical Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical
issues that arise during build out.
• Lead and manage recruiting, on boarding, and training programs; conduct performance assessments; administer work assignment records; execute recognition or disciplinary actions as required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience applying AS 9100, 8210 & related DoD technical orders and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced, rapid change environment as the mission requires
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret (or higher) clearance.
• Strong written and oral communication - able to brief senior leadership and write clear work order packages; experience in having direct conversations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Available to work flexible, non standard shifts (including nights, weekends or rotating "A B" schedules) in direct support of Special Operations missions.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and coach teams to exceed goals while driving high morale in a union environment while following parameters of a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Desired skills

• Self sufficiently organize & execute production strategy type plans - manage large personnel team sizes ( 15 ) and thrive through conflicting priorities .
• Prior experience supporting Military Special Operations customers (preferred).
• 5 + years of aircraft modification / program management experience (especially MH 6/ 60/ 47).
• Familiarity with **DoD maintenance/ inspection/ inspection procedures

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,900 - $147,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
