Airflight Aerospace is a leading provider of aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, specializing in commercial and military aviation. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landing Gear Technician to join our growing team.


 Position Summary:
The Landing Gear Technician is responsible for the inspection, disassembly, overhaul, repair, and reassembly of aircraft landing gear systems and components in accordance with OEM specifications, company procedures, and FAA/EASA regulations.


 Key Responsibilities:
 Perform complete teardown, inspection, and overhaul of landing gear assemblies and related components
·         Document all work performed using appropriate maintenance records and software systems
·         Utilize precision measurement tools to assess component wear and tolerances
·         Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and drawings
·         Operate specialized tools and equipment required for repair and reassembly
·         Ensure compliance with all quality control, safety, and regulatory standards
·         Collaborate with engineering and quality departments on repair decisions and improvement initiatives
 
 Qualifications:
 
·         High school diploma or GED required; technical school or A&P certification preferred
·         3+ years of experience in aircraft landing gear MRO or related component repair
·         Familiarity with ATA Chapter 32 procedures and OEM repair manuals
·         Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical data
·         Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check and drug screening


  Preferred Experience:


 FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant License
·         C-130 and Beechcraft C-12 / KingAir
